How about some free money on this slow Monday afternoon? I've got four games that I think are easy wins against the spread. I bet together in a parlay, but there's much more risk involved with betting these games in that manner. Do what you feel more comfortable with.

Xavier (16-9) -2 @ St Johns (14-11)

In their last eight games Xavier is 4-4, while St John's is 3-9 over their last 12. Neither team is particularly hot. St John's is a solid 10-5-1 ATS (against the spread) at home this year and only allowing 39% shooting. That is a recipe for disaster for Xavier, who has not been good ATS this season. However, Xavier is the better team, and I believe they pull this one out.

Pick: Xavier -2

Iowa State (11-14) @ Kansas (22-3) -16

I'm not going to go too in depth with this one. Kansas is one of the best teams in the nation, shocker. Iowa State is not having a good year by any means. However, -16 is a lot to bank on in a conference basketball game, but a Kansas win is not.

Pick: Kansas moneyline

NC Central (12-12) @ NC A&T (12-14) -2.5

Against the grain, I like to go with a moneyline bet as opposed to a bet on the point spread. This will net you less money if you win, but your odds of winning go up tremendously. Both of these teams are bad, but Central is particularly bad on the road, losing by an average of about 10 points and shooting under 45% from the field. On the flip side, A&T is a magnificent 7-1 ATS at home this year. Barring a massive change in this years history, A&T should handle this game with ease.

Pick: NC A&T moneyline

Mississippi Valley State (2-22) @ Southern University (10-15) -15

Mississippi Valley St. is a bad basketball team, but they have done pretty well ATS this season. They are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games played on Monday nights and 5-0 in their last five away games. I'm sticking with that history. With this game you could bet it two ways: take the Southern moneyline and also grab the points with the underdog hoping that Mississippi Valley St. covers. Both can happen, and I believe both will.

Pick: Southern moneyline and/or Miss. Valley St. -15
