First of all...

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL!!!

Chandler and I would like to wish each of you a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, Boxing Day, or whatever it is you celebrate this time a year!! We hope your holidays are safe and relaxing! (Lord knows we all deserve at least that after going through the most miserable year on record in quite some time.)

Second, Chandler and I got you all a little gift. (I know, I know. We shouldn't have. But hey, 'tis the season of giving, right?) We got you some more winning NFL plays! We're coming off of another great week in which we went 4-1-1 combined. Hopefully you tailed our picks and made yourself a little extra cash to help with your Christmas shopping!

After combining to go 2-4 in week 11 and again in week 12, Chandler and I have bounced back very nicely, posting a 12-5-1 record in weeks 13, 14 and 15 (5-1, 3-3 and 4-1-1, respectively). We are now a whopping 49-39-2 (55.6%) this year, and we're looking at another nice card in week 16. Hopefully we can push out our winning percentage even further and finish the season in the black.

As always, check out this week's Best Bets show on YouTube for our in-depth analysis on the week 15 recap, as well as our picks for week 16. Below is just a synopsis of each.

Also, we may not be recording a week 17 episode of Best Bets. If too many teams are resting their starters next week, leaving Chandler and I without six total plays in which we see solid value, then we won't force a show just to have one. If, however, the majority of NFL teams do have something to play for next week and we can come up with six or more plays that we truly like, then we will indeed record a week 17 episode. So, stay tuned for that update, most likely right after week 16 concludes.

Last, our Best Bets episodes will continue throughout the NFL playoffs. However, the format of the show will be rather different. Instead of coming up with three plays each and competing against each other, Chandler and I will combine our efforts and give out the plays we like the most each week. There will be no minimum or maximum set number either. If we only like one play in any of the upcoming postseason weeks, then that's all we'll give out. On the flip side, if we find that there are seven plays we love for that weekend, then we will provide you with analysis on all seven. We're just going to dole out as many or as few plays each week as we deem worthy of actually betting on.

Okay then, let's move on. Here is the week 15 recap, followed by our week 16 bets:

(TEASER BET EXPLANATION: In case you’re not familiar with a teaser, it’s a bet in which you get six points to manipulate the point spread and/or game total in a favorable direction. For example, in John’s teaser bet in week one this year, he bet the Colts and the Rams. Bet by themselves, the Colts were -8 at Jacksonville and the Rams were +3 at home against the Cowboys. However, in a teaser you get to add six points to the side of each bet you selected. Therefore, John moved the Colts down from -8 to -2, and the Rams up from +3 to +9. Teasers are great ways to manipulate lines so that they’re more favorable to you. Last, just like a parlay, teasers must include two bets or more, and you must win all the legs in the teaser to win the bet. If you lose one leg of the teaser your whole bet is busted.)
